Travel no further to experience this unique gastronomic journey, a restaurant in total darkness, a completely new sensory experience concept restaurant which located above Ten on Changkat, by Werner Kuhn who also owns El Cerdo.

The optic nerve is overridden – your other senses take over. Every sound, every movement, every taste, every breath is an adventure!

You will be lead to the waiting area before adjourn to the restaurant next door, which occupies the upper floor of The Whisky Bar. To help patrons acclimatise to the darkness before dinner, they’ll play games blindfolded, such as fishing out paper clips in a container filled with rice and beans, or guessing ingredients in canisters by the sound they make. Phones, luminous watches or anything that emits light are kept in a locked drawer before you make way to the restaurant.

The whole dining experience will be guided by the restaurant’s “Darkness Experts”, the manager and waiters of the restaurant are visually impaired and blind persons who lead their daily life without or with minimal light. Thus, relax, trust, enjoy (and maybe wonder, guess, even speculate) the great tasting food (surprised menu, change time to time) specially designed and carefully prepared fit for a fine dining, Starter, Main, Dessert, with varying flavours to give your palate a wonderful experience and your mind… an exciting challenge!

This is not a restaurant you’ll come back regularly for the food but a place to share a unique experience of learning and discovery with different people.
