Restoran Foh San Dim Sum 富山茶楼 located along the so called "Dim Sum Street" is one of the famous and oldest dim sum restaurant at Ipoh. This has appeared to be a must visit place for most of the visitors to Ipoh and it was difficutly to find a parking as well as a seat in the restaurant especially during peak hours (normally 7am-10am) of weekend.

For over 35 years, Ipoh Foh San Restaurant has been serving customers with a delicious variety of authentic Chinese Dim Sum. From pau, rice, porridge to noodles & ramen, sweet desserts and etc.

Restoran Foh San Dim Sum 富山茶楼 was just occupied the current location few years back with its grand, classic, nostalgic Chinese feel double-story building aim to serve you with more comfortable and enjoyable dinning.

The dim sum restaurant at Ipoh not that systematic like KL does, where it does not introduced numbering for seat waiting. You may need to find around for a seat if you are luckly or you are required to stand aside a table whose customer seems to be finished their meal soon in order to get the table.

There was feedback to said that dim sum at Ipoh is most delicious among all other states and most of them agreed. May because of the "nice mountain nice water" at Ipoh and the final call is on you after your tried.

Note that Reservation for Saturday, Sunday and public holiday just available after 12 noon.
